On March 15th and 16th, the organization “W0W! Wavre -vers zero waste” launches its first major Zero Waste festival. A lot of practical workshops, screenings, meetings and exchanges around recycling, waste management, minimalism and sustainable development.

That's why, at Family Time Saver (as you remember, we committed ourselves to it at the beginning of the year) we wanted to share with you our small attempts to reduce our impact on the planet and our desire to improve our diet.
After seeing a DIY laundry liquid recipe several times on 1640durableduurzaam's Facebook page (you'll find lots of great homemade home care recipes with very little “to do” and hyper effective), we decided to take the chance and do it ourselves !
It took about 10 minutes for 2 liters of liquid and we washed our laundry as we did before without any problem: it’s clean, it smells good (we followed the option to add essential oils.) and for a minimal cost.
Therefore, we validate the recipe and the result !

Despite all our efforts, an ongoing problem remains! We wanted to know more about healthy snacks!
The difficulty we faced is that, without chocolate, our children weren’t too happy... So we used good chocolate with 70% cocoa to make the healthy cookies of “Manger Kosher and Bio by Emma”:
3 mashed bananas (zero waste tip: recycle overripe bananas)
1 glass of oatmeal or Quinoa flakes
Chocolate cut into small pieces
Cashews, almonds, hazelnuts (Whatever you like!!!!)
Mix everything
Put in the oven at 200 degrees for 20-25 min
it has become a MUST in our home, everyone loves it!
We also love the "banana bread" also by Manger Kosher and Bio by Emma:
2 eggs
2 very ripe mashed bananas
1 Banana to cut in 2 on the top of the cake
1 bag of baking powder
170 g flour
T110 / whole flour
1 tablespoon of coconut sugar
1 teaspoon of coconut oil Chocolate chunks
175 degrees cooking oven 45 mins
✔️mash with the fork the 2 bananas then add the other ingredients ...
✔️Put all in a hinged mold for a good release.
✔️Cut the banana in 2 and put it on the top of the cake ...
And straight to the oven ...
